Ingredients:
900g fresh, trimmed, green beans
6 medium potatoes sliced about 0.5cm thick
1 large red onion, sliced
1 tsp dried dill
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
450ml cream of chicken soup (or any other cream soup)
1 tbsp butter
Method:
Lightly grease the crockpot with butter then layer the potatoes, onion and beans in the base (sprinkle the dill, salt and black pepper between the layers) then dot with the butter and add 3 tbsp water.
Cover and cook on high for 4 hours then stir-in the soup and cook on low for an additional 30 minutes. Serve hot.
If desired you can sprinkle a little grated cheese over before the final 30 minutes of cooking so the cheese melts into a gooey topping.
