Beef in Adobo Sauce

Method:

Mix together all the ingredients (except the beef) in a small bowl. Season the meat, place in a shallow dish and pour the lime and adobo sauce over the top. Turn the steaks a few times to ensure an even coating then cover the bowl and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Pre-heat a lightly-oiled griddle pan until hot then add the steaks and fry for about 5 minutes per side (or more depending on your desired level of doneness). Allow to rest for 2 minutes then serve. If cut into strips the meat also makes an excellent filling for fajitas, tacos or enchiladas.
