Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Transfer to an air-tight container and store in a cool, dark, cupboard. About 5 tbsp of this mix is equivalent to a 37.5g (1.25 oz) packet.
To make onion dip from this mix simply mix 5 tbsp of the onion soup mix with 600ml sour cream.
