Cynhwysion:

450g o gig eidion wedi ei giwbio
1 nionyn wedi torri
400g o datws wedi eu plicio a'u chwarteru
600ml o ddŵr
1 llwy fwrdd o flawd
ciwb stoc eidion
45g o fenyn

Dull:

Cymysgwch y cig a'r nionod mewn desgil caserol a dotiwch y menyn am ei ben. Gosodwch heb gaead mewn popty wedi ei gyn-gynhesu i 160°C a phobwch am 15 mnund. Tynnwch o'r popty a codwch y gwres i 200°C. Taenwch y blawd ar ben y gymysgfa cig a nionod gan ei droi i fewn yna arllwyswch y dŵr am ben y cyfan. Gosodwch gaead ar y caserol cyn ei roi yn ol yn y popty a choginiwch am 150 munud. Nawr ychwanegwch y stoc eidion, halen a phupur a rhoddwch y tatws am ben y cyfan. Rhoddwch y caead yn ol am ei ben yna gosodwch yn ol yn y popty am awr. Gweinwch yn boeth.

English Translation


Ingredients:

450g beef, cubed
1 onion, chopped
400g potatoes, peeled and quartered
600ml water
1 tbsp flour
beef stock cube
45g butter

Method:

Mix the meat and onions in a casserole dish and dot with the butter. Place, uncovered, in an oven pre-heated to 160°C and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and increase the heat to 200°C.

Scatter the flour over the meat and onion mixture, stirring to combine, then pour the water over the top. Place the lid on the casserole before returning to the oven and baking for about 150 minutes. Now add the beef stock cube, season well and scatter the potatoes over the top. Replace the lid then return to the oven and continue cooking for an hour. Serve hot.
