White Cabbage Salad is a traditional Mauritian recipe for a classic salad of shredded cabbage, grated carrot and onion mixed with Mauritian mayonnaise. The full recipe is presented here and I hope you enjoy this classic Mauritian version of: White Cabbage Salad.

Ingredients:
1/2 white cabbage, finely shredded (a chiffonade)
1 carrot, finely grated
1/2 medium red onion, finely chopped
3 tbsp Mauritian Mayonnaise
salt and freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
Method:
Combine all the vegetables together in a bowl. Add the mayonnaise and seasonings and mix well. Chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes then place on a serving plate and sprinkle with paprika before serving.
This makes an excellent accompaniment to barbecued meats and fish, especially kebabs.
