Torrwch y cennin yn fân iawn, a'u mwydo mewn dr llugoer a'u sychu'n dda. Torrwch yr afalau'n chwarteri, tynnu eu creiddiau, a thorri'r afalau'n dafellau tenau. Rhowch yr afalau i fwydo yn y sudd lemon i'w hatal rhag troi'n frown. Torrwch y cnau ffrengig yn ddarnau bach. Cymysgwch y cyfan a thaflu'r salad yn y dresin cyn ei fwyta.
English Translation
This is an autumnal salad, incorporating seasonal ingredients and Wales' national vegetable.
Ingredients:
1 medium or 4 small leeks
2 apples — crisp red skinned varieties are best for this recipe
Juice of one lemon
Handful of walnuts
Vinaigrette dressing
Method:
Chop the leeks very finely, then soak them in lukewarm water and drain well. Quarter and core the apples and slice thinly. Soak them in the lemon juice to prevent them browning. Chop the walnuts into small pieces. Mix all the ingredients together and toss the salad in the dressing just prior to serving.
