This recipe is best if it can be served in a clean, glazed, flower pot (about 20cm in diameter) and if you have a flair for the dramatic use a garden trowel rather than a spoon to serve.
Ingredients:
300g Oreo cookies
240g cream cheese, softened
50g softened margarine or butter
360ml Cool Whip (or any similar whipped topping)
150g powdered sugar
660ml milk
2 packets (2 x 90g) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 packet of Gummy Worms
Method:
Crush the Oreo biscuits and set aside. Soften the butter then cream together with the cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy. Cover the bowl and set aside.
Now whisk together the milk and instant pudding mix. Combine this mixture with the cream cheese mix and whisk until smooth. Now fold in the cool whip.
Plug the base of the flower pot (use the cream cheese carton lid). Now add a layer of the crushed cookies to the base of the pot, followed by a layer of the cream cheese mix and a layer of the gummy worms. Continue in this manner until all the ingredients have been used up (but finish with a later of the cookie crumbs). Cover with clingfilm and refrigerate over night.
Before serving add edible flowers on top. If possible, use a trowel to serve.
