Ingredients:
12 pigeon breasts
lemon pepper, to taste
onion powder, to taste
streaky bacon, to wrap
Method:
Impale the pigeon breasts on a metal skewer (at least 35cm long). Season to taste with lemon pepper and onion powder then wrap in bacon and pin in place with toothpicks.
Place on a hot barbecue and cook, covered, for about 7 minutes. Turn over and cook for about 7 minutes on the other side. The pigeon breasts should be heated through, but nicely pink on the inside. Do not over-cook or they will be very dry.
