Ingredients:
1.2kg chicken wings
250ml honey
125ml soy sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tbsp ketchup
chilli flakes, to taste
salt and black pepper, to taste
Method:
Remove the tips from the chicken wings (either discard or reserve to make chicken stock) then cut each wing into two parts and season with salt, black pepper and chilli flakes. Place the wings in a slow cooker (crockpot).
Meanwhile, whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken wings. Cover and cook on low for between 6 and 8 hours.
