Grilled Sweet and Sour Pork Chops is a modern British recipe for a classic barbecue dish of pork chops marinated in a blend of mustard, chutney, vinegar, oil, garlic, rosemary and beer that's cooked on a barbecue. Combine the blender, mustard, chutney, vinegar, oil, garlic and rosemary in a blender or food processor. Process until smooth then add the beer and pulse to combine.
Arrange the pork chops in a flat-bottomed baking dish then pour over the marinade. Turn the chops over to coat evenly in the marinade then cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and set aside to marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes, turning them over every 10 minutes.
After this time, remove the chops from the marinade then place on a rack over a hot barbecue. Cook some 10cm from the coals for about 6 minutes per side, or until the chops are cooked through. During the cooking process brush the chops with left-over marinade when they are turned over.
