Ingredients:
6 chicken legs
2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
2cm length of fresh ginger, peeled and finely grated
1 tbsp runny honey
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
salt and freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
150ml plain yoghurt
juice of 1 lime
1 tsp finely-grated lime zest
1 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
Method:
Combine the garlic, ginger, honey, Worcestershire sauce, chilli powder, turmeric, yoghurt, lime juice, lime zest and coriander bowls. Season to taste with salt and black pepper then whisk to combine.
Smear the marinade all over the chicken legs then set aside in a bowl to marinate for 60 minutes. Place on in a roasting tin then transfer to an oven pre-heated to 210°C and roast for about 40 minutes, basting occasionally with the pan juices, until cooked through and nicely crisp on the outside.
