This is a classic pizza which is great for buffets and barbecues. Basically you have a split loaf of Ciabatta bread that you cover with your own choice of toppings selected from a standard list.

Ingredients:

1 loaf of Ciabatta bread split in half horizontally
1 tbsp olive oil
roasted garlic
minced fresh garlic
Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
freshly-grated Gruyère cheese
freshly-grated Parmesan cheese
freshly-grated Fontina cheese
fresh basil, shredded
fresh rosemary, finely chopped
fresh tomato, sliced
fresh plum tomatoes, sliced lengthways
red onion, sliced into rings
red bell pepper, sliced into rings
yellow bell pepper, sliced into rings
sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
fresh rocket
pitted black olives, sliced into rings
salt and black pepper, to taste

Method:

Drizzle a little olive oil over the cut half of the ciabatta bread. Add your choice of toppings to the bread then top with your selection of cheeses. Lightly drizzle a little more olive oil over the top then season liberally.

Place the finished ciabatta lambada in an oven pre-heated to 200°C and bake until the cheese melts (about 6 minutes).

Cut into slices and serve immediately.
