Ingredients:
300g Sweet Shortcrust Pastry Dough
250g milk chocolate, melted
8 oranges, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
3 tbsp marmalade
3 tbsp Cointreau or other orange-based liqueur
Method:
Roll or press the pastry to fit a 23cm flan tin. Prick and bake blind until crisp and golden. Allow the pastry to cool and then paint with melted chocolate forming an even coating. Refrigerate until chocolate sets.
Once the pastry case is ready arrange the orange slices within and gently melt the marmalade and mix with the Cointreau. Spoon over the fruit to glaze. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
