Ingredients:
4 venison tenderloins (about 250g each)
salt and freshly-ground white pepper, to taste
4 garlic cloves, finely minced
300ml barbecue sauce
4 tbsp honey
2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
Method:
Season the venison liberally with salt, black pepper and garlic. Set aside.
Mix together the barbecue sauce, honey and lemon pepper seasoning. Add the venison and turn to coat in the sauce. Cover and set aside to marinate for at least 20 minutes.
After this time, transfer the venison to sheets of foil and wrap as individual parcels. Place on a cool portion of your barbecue and cook gently over low heat for about 50 minutes.
