Ingredients:
4 tart eating apples
8 to 12 tbsp muesli (granola)
cinnamon for dusting
butter for dotting
Method:
Using a sharp knife, core the apples from the stem end, leaving the bases intact. Use the muesli (granola) to stuff the apples then sprinkle over the cinnamon and dot with butter.
Securely wrap the apples in a double layer of kitchen foil. When the coals of your barbecue have died down to embers, remove the grill and nestle the apples in the embers. Cook, turning the apples occasionally, for about 10 minutes, or until the apples are tender all the way through. Carefully remove from the barbecue with tongs and set aside.
When the apples are just cool enough to be handled, carefully unwrap and serve warm with cream.
