Berwch y dŵr i’w buro a’i adael i glaearu.
Cyfunwch y resins, y siwgr a’r sudd lemon mewn bwed gan ychwanegu'r dŵr a’i droi ryw unwaith neu ddwy bob dydd am bedwar diwrnod. Gorchuddiwch gyda chlwt glân.
Hidlwcy y trwyth drwy fwslin, ei arllwys i boteli a rhoi corcyn yn dynn yng ngheg pob un ohonynt.

English Translation
I've heard this referred to as 'poor man's mead' and it was used as a lightly alcoholic drink to soothe parched throats during hay-making.
Ingredients:
4.5l water
500g raisins
1kg sugar
juice of three lemons
Method:
Boil the water, then set aside to cool.
Combine raisins, sugar and lemon juice in a bucket. Pour over the water and stir once daily for four days. Cover with a clean cloth.
Strain the liquid through muslin and pour into bottles. Immediately cork them securely.
