A quiche is a form of open flan filled with a savoury custard filling made with eggs and milk. The dish originated from the Lorraine region of north-eastern France and the traditional Quiche Lorraine had bacon, onion and cheese as a filling. But these days many fillings can be used such as fish meat, mushrooms and vegetables.
