White Sangria is a traditional Spanish recipe for a classic chilled mix of white wine, Cava, soda water and fruit slices ideal for summer garden parties and barbecues. The full recipe is presented here and I hope you enjoy this classic Spanish version of: White Sangria.

Ingredients:
3 oranges, finely sliced
4 lemons, finely sliced
4 limes, finely sliced
300g sugar
120ml tequila
1 bottle dry white wine, chilled
1 bottle Cava or Champagne or sparkling wine, chilled
500ml club soda
Method:
Place the orange, lemon and lime slices in a large bow or jug and pour the sugar over them. Stir to combine then add the tequila and mix gently. Place in the refrigerator and allow to chill over night.
When ready to serve, place lots of ice in a punch bowl and add the fruit mixture and the wine. Add the champagne and club soda just before serving.
