Ulster Fry is a traditional Northern Irish recipe for a classic very hearty breakfast dish of boxty, eggs, black liver pudding, bacon, sausages and fried soda bread. The full recipe is presented here and I hope you enjoy this classic Northern Irish version of: Ulster Fry.
Add butter to a large frying pan then cook the Boxty according to the recipe (place these in the oven to keep warm). Add the sausages to the frying pan and cook for about 8 minutes, before adding the bacon and black pudding. When these are half done crack the eggs into another pan and fry until cooked to your liking.
About 2 minutes before the meat is ready add the sliced soda bread to the pan along with the bacon and fry for 1 minute on each side or until golden brown. Divide the ingredients between 4 plates and serve.
