This is not the ordinary jam that you post on toast, in Finland, lingonberry jam or puolukkahillo is a condiment served with savory dishes such as meatballs and reindeer stew! It is one of those odd combos that work like magic in your mouth.

Ingredients:

65g Sugar
200g Frozen lingonberries
2 tbsp water

Method:

Combine all the ingredients in a pan over medium heat, bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until the jam is glossy and thick.

Pot into warmed, sterilized, jars allow to cool, label and store in the refrigerator.
