Here is another classic recipe to make with home-made (or even shop bought) tandoori paste. This is really easy to make and only takes 10 minutes (the same time needed to boil your rice).
Ingredients:
1kg (2 1/3 lbs) fish steaks (firm fish like salmon, kingfish, angelfish, barramundi, barracuda and tilapia are all good)
1 batch home-made tandoori paste
oil for frying
Method:
Rub the fish all over with the tandoori masala. Place the fish and masala in a ziploc bag, transfer to the refrigerator and marinate for at least an hour.
Place a frying pan over medium heat, add a little oil and when hot remove the fish from the oil and add to the pan. Cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, until golden brown with black spots starting to form. Once cooked on the first side flip the fish over and cook on the other side.
