Ingredients:
500g tinned oysters
500ml cream of celery soup
3 boiled potatoes, chopped up
1.2l water
4 tbsp butter
Pinch of salt and freshly-ground black pepper
Method:
Drain the liquid from oysters then combine the oyster liquid, water, cream of celery soup, salt and pepper in a pan and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, gently fry oysters in the butter until their edges just begin to curl (don't over cook). Add the oysters to the remainder of the rest of soup ingredients just before serving.
