Oregon Grape Sherbet

Method:

Combine the juice and sugar in a pan. Heat gently, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved. Take off the heat and allow to cool completely then whisk in the milk.

Either churn in an ice cream maker or pour into a freezer-proof dish. Set this in your freezer and freeze. Every 20 minutes, use a fork to whisk the sherbet mixture, breaking up any crystals. Continue in this manner until fully frozen (this will help stop ice crystals from forming, giving a better texture).
