Ingredients

Ingredients:

800ml (2 tins) coconut milk
360ml dairy cream
2 tbsp grated palm sugar
24 green bananas, grated

Method:

Combine coconut milk, cream and palm sugar in a saucepan. Heat till barely simmering.

Mix the grated banana together to form dough. Create small balls using two spoons and carefully drop it into milk mixture. Simmer gently for 10 minutes.

You also can use the same grated green banana batter for green banana fritters. Fry the batter in a pan of hot oil until golden. Immediately season with salt and serve with sweet chilli sauce.
