Ingredients:
4 steaks, cubed
120ml water
oil for frying
1 large onion, diced
2 large tomatoes, diced
250ml passata, tomato sauce or ketchup
2 garlic cloves, chopped
200ml chutney
100g brown sugar
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp Tabasco sauce or African hot sauce
Method:
Heath the oil in a frying pan then fry the onions and garlic until soft. Add all the remaining ingredients, mix well and allow to simmer for a few minutes.
Fry the steak in a separate pan and when done arrange on a bed of rice and pour the sauce over the top.
