Melon and Ginger Smoothie

Ingredients:

350g ripe melon flesh (glia, cantaloupe, honeydew or de-seeded watermelon)
2 small bananas
1 ball of stem ginger (ginger preserved in syrup)
250ml natural yoghurt

Method:

Reserve two wedges of melon to decorate the glasses. Place the remaining melon in a blender along with the bananas, ginger and yoghurt. Process until smooth then divide the smoothie between two tall, chilled, glasses (pour over ice if you like your smoothies cold). Add a straw and garnish with a wedge of melon then serve.
