Method:

Wash your fish fillet, pat dry then place in a bowl.

Mix together the turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt in a small bowl

Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over your fish, ensuring that all sides are nicely coated,

Use your fingers to massage the spices into the fish, creating a paste like consistency

Place a pan over medium high heat then pour in your oil. Wait for it to heat up, then carefully slide in your fish fillet.

Fry until the fish is nice and golden brown on both sides, it should take about five minutes total.

Serve with some steamed white rice and garlic daal, and enjoy!
