Method:
Combine the water and butter in a large saucepan; when it comes to a rolling boil add the milk and the polenta, beating them in with a whisk. Keep stirring the ingredients together until they form a lump-free batter.
Keep boiling and stirring the mixture for another two minutes.
Then cover the pan and cook for 7- 10 minutes, stirring after every 2 minutes, till all the water is absorbed.
Add the cheese and season with salt to taste then give it a thorough mix.
