Add the honey and sugar to a saucepan and heat over a gentle flame until all the sugar has dissolved. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes, boiling constantly. Stir-in the almonds and pour the syrup into a well-greased 18cm square dish.
Cut into 12 squares whilst still warm then allow to cool and break the pieces apart when cold.
