Ingredients:

75g dates, pitted and chopped
70g seedless raisins
2 tbsp cider vinegar
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp sugar
120ml vegetable oil
1 tsp ground ginger

Method:

Combine all the ingredients in a blender then purée until smooth. Transfer to a saucepan then heat the mixture until thoroughly heated through.

Transfer to a bowl and use as a warm dipping sauce for kebabs.
