45g dried vegetable flakes (eg tomatoes, celery, onion, courgette, peas, broccoli, carrots, bell pepper — available in health food stores)
1 tbsp cracked (bulgur) wheat
1/4 tsp dried parsley
1/4 tsp dried basil
pinch of garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp vegetable stock powder
salt and freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
Method:
Simply combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Transfer to an air-tight container and store in a cool, dark, cupboard. About 5 tbsp of this mix is equivalent to a 37.5g (1.25 oz) packet.
