Salsa Rosada (Pink Sauce) is a traditional Colombian recipe for a classic sauce made from a blend of mayonnaise, ketchup and lime juice sometimes with the addition of hot sauce and coriander leaves. Ingredients:
125ml mayonnaise
65 ketchup
¼ tsp lime juice
Salt and freshly-ground blackPepper
¼ teaspoon Tabasco or other hot sauce (Optional)
2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped (optional)
Method:
In a small bowl combine all the ingredients and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
I like to add hot sauce to mine and others add coriander, but both these are optional.
