Cocquito

Cocquito is a traditional Puerto Rican recipe for a classic cocktail made from a blend of coconut milk, coconut cream, evaporated milk and white rum served in an Old Fashioned glass garnished with ground cinnamon. This is a classic holiday drink from Puerto Rico that resembles eggnog and which is typically served over Christmas and the New Year.

Ingredients:

440g tin of coconut milk
440g tin of coconut cream
330g tin of evaporated milk
275ml bottle of white rum
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon


Method:

Simply combine all the ingredients in a blender. Pulse until smooth then transfer to a bottle.

Refrigerate over night to chill.

Serve cold, garnished with a cinnamon stick.
