Ingredients:

4 large carrots, cooked and grated
1 onion, grated
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly-grated nutmeg
1 tbsp sugar
240ml milk
3 eggs, beaten

Method:

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.

Whisk to mix thoroughly then pour into a slow cooker (crockpot) and cook on high for about 3–4 hours.

Serve as an accompaniment.
