Bolitas de Pecana (Pecan Balls) a Classic Peruvian recipe for a sweet or candy made from a blend of vanilla wafers, pecan nuts and condensed milk rolled in powdered sugar.
Mix together the pecan nuts and vanilla wafers. Grind to a powder in a food processor. Work in just enough of the condensed milk to yield a thick dough.
Shape into small balls and roll in the powdered sugar to coat.
If desired, you can add a little cocoa powder to half the pecan mixture to create a brown version.
