This is a classic Catalan dish (from Spain), but its just as popular in Andorra as it is over the border in the Catalan region of Spain.

Ingredients:

4 thick slices of good, crusty, bread
4 garlic cloves, peeled
2 large, very ripe, tomatoes
extra-virgin olive oil
sea salt
4 slices Serrano ham

Method:

Toast the bread, then rub it all over with the garlic. Halve the tomatoes then rub one half over the top of each piece of toast, squeezing them to get the pulp out.

Season with salt, drizzle a little olive oil over the top, add the Serrano ham and serve.
