Pill garlec and caſt it in a pot with watr aud oile. and ſeeþ it, do þ9to ſafron, ſalt, and powdor fort and dreſſe it forth hool.
Modern Redaction
Ingredients:
2 whole heads of garlic
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp Powder fort
Method:
Separate the individual cloves of garlic and peel them. Add the cloves to a saucepan and add just enough water to cover them. Add the butter and bring to a gentle simmer. Leave to simmer for about twenty minutes (until the garlic becomes translucent) then drain, place in a serving dish and sprinkle with the powder fort before serving.
