Pliciwch y tatws, golchwch yn drwyadl yna torrwch yn sgoldion gweddol fawr. Gwasgarwch y sglodion dros dun pobi mawr, arllwyswch yr olew drosdynt yna ysgwydwch y tun i orchuddio gwyned pob sgoldyn.
Trosglwyddwch i bopty wedi ei gyn-gynhesu i 200°C (400°F, nwy 6) a phobwch am tua 40 munud, neu nes fod y tatws yn frown ac yn grisbyn. Cofiwch droi y tatws ar ol 20 munud i adael iddynt liwio ar y ddwy ochor.

Peel the potatoes, wash thoroughly then dry and cut into quite substantial chips. Scatter the chips over a large baking dish, drizzle over the olive oil then shake the tin to coat the potatoes in an even covering of oil.
Transfer to an oven pre-heated to 200°C (400°F, Gas Mark 6) and bake for about 40 minutes, or until crisp and nicely browned. Remember to turn the potatoes over after 20 minutes so that they cook evenly.
Scatter over the spiced sea salt immediately before serving.
