Ychwanegwch y cynhwysion i sosban fawr, gorchuddiwch â dŵr cyn dod i ferwi. Ychwanegwch halen a phupur cyn tynnu unrhyw saim sydd wedi codi i'r gwyneb. Rhowch gaead ar y sosban gan ledferwi'r chynhwysion yn araf am ddwy awr. Tynnwch yr esgyrn (gan ddychwel unrhyw gig i'r cawl). Ychwanegwch halen neu bupur os oes angen a gweinwch dyda'r persli am ei ben

English Translation


Ingredients:

4 medium leeks, chopped
2 onions, chopped
3 carrots, peeled and cubed
2 parsnips, peeled and cubed
675g neck of lamb, trimmed of fat
80g rice
salt and freshly-ground black pepper
bunch of parsley, finely chopped

Method:

Add all the ingredients to a pan, cover with plenty of water, bring to a boil then season and skim any fat from the surface. Cover and simmer gently for 2 hours. Remove the meat bones (take any meat off and add back to the cawl). Adjust the seasonings and serve sprinkled with the parsley.
