30g seleri wedi torri'n fân
30g moron wedi torri'n fân
30g briwsion bara
4 melynwy ŵy
60g ŵau penwaig
pinsiad o lysiau cymysg
pinsiad o fennigl
pinsiad or garlled wedi torri'n fân
1 llwy fwrdd brandi
1 llwy fwrdd hufen dwbwl
halen a phupur du

Dull:

Torrwch cnawd y cregyn gleision yn fân cyn ychwanegu'r llysiau a'r ŵyau penwaig. Ychwanegwch y llysiau a'r briwsion bara ac yna'r halen a'r pupur. Cymysgwch gyda'r melynwy ŵy, brandi a'r hufen. Rhowch mewn tun bara wedi ei iro. Sefwch mewn tun rhost hanner llawn o ddwr a phobwch mewn popty wedi ei gyn-gynhesu i 170°C (325°F/Gas Mark 3) am hanner awr. Gweiniwch yn gynnes gyda thost.

English Translation


Ingredients:

120g meat from cooked mussels
30g celery, finely minced
30g carrots, finely minced
30g breadcrumbs
4 egg yolks
60g herring roe
pinch of mixed herbs
pinch of dill
pinch of garlic, minced
1 tbsp brandy
1 tbsp double cream

Method:

Finely mince the mussel meat and mix with the vegetables and herring roe. Add the herbs, seasonings and breadcrumbs. Combine the eggs into this mixture then blend in the brandy and cream.

Pack into a loaf tin that's been well buttered. Stand in a roasting tin and half-fill this with boiling water. Bake in an oven pre-heated to 170°C (325°F/Gas Mark 3) for half an hour and serve warm with toast.
