Sterilize your jars then dry and heat in an oven pre-heated to 80°C. Mwanwhile, combine all the ingredients in a pan and slowly bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Cook rapidly for 15 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking. Take off the heat and pour into the hot jars, leaving 6mm head space. Wipe the jar rims, secure the lids then process the jars for 10 minutes in a boiling water bath.
