This is a classic Ugandan recipe for a curried dish of smoked fish in a lightly-curried tomato-based gravy.
Fry the onions and garlic in the oil until translucent. Add the diced tomatoes and cook until soft.
Now stir-in the tomato paste, curry powder and dill and allow the mixture to simmer for 10 minutes (add a little water if the sauce becomes too thick) then add the smoked fish and cook for about 3 minutes, until the fish warms through. Serve on a bed of rice.
