Spinners are a Jamaican dumpling or pasta made with flour and water that are stretched thin and are typically added to soups and stews.
Ingredients:
150g plain flour
pinch of salt
90ml water
Method:
Sift together the salt and flour into a small bowl. Add just enough of the water to form a stiff dough then pinch off about 2 tbsp pieces of the dough and shape into long, thin, streamers. Set these aside to dry slightly before using.
Add to your soup or stew about 15 to 20 minutes before the dish is ready.
