Place each ingredients, one at a time, into a heavy mortar, pounding each one, as it's added with a pestle until you have a paste. If desired you can finish the process by scraping the ingredients into a food processor, adding the groundnut oil then pulsing until you have a smooth paste.
Scrape into a screw-top jar and store in the refrigerator until needed.
