In Scots, kail is any kind of cabbage that has no heart or head.

Method:

Cut the rabbit into serving pieces and slice the pickled pork. Combine the rabbit and pork in a pan then add just enough water to cover. Shred the kail and add this to the pan then season to taste (if the pork is salty you will not need any additional salt).

Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer then cover and cook for about 180 minutes. Serve hot with oatcakes.
