Jugo de Guayaba (Guava Juice) a Classic Ecuadorian recipe for a drink of guava pulp infused in water and sweetened with sugar.

Ingredients:

10 guavas
2l water
225g sugar

Method:

Wash and peel the guavas. Mash with the water and sugar. Allow to infuse for 60 minutes and mash again. Press the juice through a fine-meshed sieve.

Turn into a jug and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
