This is a basic home-made yellow cake mix that can be substituted in any recipe calling for store-bought yellow cake mix. It also makes an excellent starting point for 'scratch' cakes.
Ingredients:
420g plain flour
400g sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
70g powdered milk
Method:
Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and milk powder in a bowl. Stir to mix then transfer to an air-tight container or ziploc bak. This will keep in a cool and dry cupboard for several months.
