Deggi Mirch is a blend of dried and powdered kashmiri chillies and dried and powdered sweet red bell peppers. You also have yellow deggi mirch, which includes ground turmeric in the blend. Here you will learn how to prepare both spice blends.
Ingredients:
For the Deggi Mirch:
4 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
2 tbsp sweet red bell pepper powder
For the Yellow Mirch:
2 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
2 tbsp sweet yellow bell pepper powder
2 tbsp dried and ground yellow chillies
2 tbsp turmeric powder
Method:
For both the deggi mirch and yellow mirch, simply mix the ingredients together well. Transfer to a jar, seal and sotre in a cool, dark place.
The spice blends will keep well for up to 3 months.
