Ingredients:

6 onions
1 chicken, skinned and cut into serving portions
480ml Spiced Butter
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp powdered ginger
120ml red wine
salt, to taste
950ml water
4 hard-boiled eggs
1 lime, quartered

Method:

Wash the chicken portions and soak in water along with the lime. Meanwhile dry-fry the onions in a large pot until tender. Add the butter and stir-in then add the wine and some 120ml of water. Bring to a boil then add the spices and chicken. Cover and cook for about 45 minutes (adding more water as necessary).

When almost ready, uncover the pot and allow the sauce to thicken. Add the four eggs and serve (the sauce will thicken as it cools).
