This makes an excellent snack at any time but is also good as a treat for Diwali.

Ingredients:

4 large sweet potatoes, steamed (see cooking techniques) and mashed
175g (1 cup + 2 tbsp) rice flour
4 tbsp honey
20 cashew nuts, lightly roasted and chopped
20 raisins
Salt to taste
2 tsp sesame seeds
Ghee for deep frying

Method:

Mix together all the ingredients, (except the ghee and the sesame seeds) in a bowl until thoroughly combined.
